Harry Kleanthous is the chief scientific officer at Apriori Bio. In this role, he oversees the advancement of the Octavia™ platform and the development of a pipeline of vaccines to protect against current and potential emerging viral threats.&nbsp;Harry is an expert in the vaccine field with more than 30 years of experience in both biotech and large biopharma companies. Before joining Apriori, Harry served as the executive vice president of vaccine R&amp;D strategy and external innovation at SK bioscience, where he oversaw external R&amp;D partnerships. Prior to that, he was a senior program officer in global health at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, managing a $150 million portfolio of investments aimed at advancing global health initiatives. As the head of research for North America at Sanofi Pasteur, Harry developed pipelines targeting infectious diseases and successfully transitioned nine research programs into development. He also held the position of vice president of research at Acambis.&nbsp;Harry holds a PhD in Medical Molecular Microbiology from the University of London.&nbsp;
